Job Description: Facility Cleaner (Zamboni Operator)

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Facility Cleaner to join our team. As a Facility Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include operating a Zamboni, sweeping, emptying trash, cleaning up debris, and folding tarps, among other duties. This position involves physical activities and will require daily lifting of up to 50lbs.

Location: Olathe, KS

Pay Range: This is a temp-to-hire position with a pay range of$18-$20 per hour ($720-$800/week) before taxes. The actual pay will be based on experience and includes a 40-hour work week.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am- 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Zamboni Operation: Operate and maintain the Zamboni to ensure the proper resurfacing of ice surfaces, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.
• Sweeping and Cleaning: Regularly sweep and clean designated areas of the facility, keeping floors and surfaces free from dirt, debris, and hazards.
• Trash Collection: Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility, ensuring waste is disposed of properly.
• Debris Cleanup: Attend to any spills, messes, or accidents promptly, providing a safe and clean environment for visitors and staff.
• Tarp Folding: Properly fold and store tarps used in the facility, maintaining organization and efficiency.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during work hours.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other facility staff to coordinate cleaning tasks and ensure a well-maintained environment.

Requirements:

• 7 year clean back ground required
• Previous experience in facility cleaning and operation of a Zamboni is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe facility.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with a team.
• Flexibility to work during weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
