NEW OPPORTUNITY! We are currently seeking a Powder Coater for a company located in the west metro! This is a great opportunity for someone who has prior industrial painting experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 1st Shift

Duties:

• Supporting fabrication operations by reviewing work instructions, safely cleaning parts and components to be painted to optimize adherence to a variety of steel material and surface conditions
• Using industrial paint application in water-based, epoxy, oxidation resistant primer and material preparation for customized, low carbon steel sheets and weldments
• Using air type pressure pumps, air type cup guns, Graco Air Pro paint spray guns, Binks HVLP air paint spray guns and other devices
• Using Open Face Industrial paint booths for liquid paint applications
• Prepare, operate and maintain all equipment, including paint booth, in accordance with applicable safety and environmental requirements
• Validate air-flow and applicable filter condition on a daily basis
• Properly apply paint to product to achieve total customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Must 1 year experience powder coating
• Experience using paint sprayer and applicators
• Must comply with respirator requirements
• Ability to work as a team player and effectively communicate with other departments
