Express Calibration Services specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types. We are currently seeking a professional Calibration Laboratory Supervisor to be based at our Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, MO facility.

Job Summary:

The Calibration Lab Supervisor has the overall responsibility for planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all lab and technical related activities and management of all calibration technicians. The Calibration Lab Supervisor will work closely with the Customer Service Supervisor to promote collaboration and alignment of company goals between customer service and laboratory.

Responsibilities:

• Works Directly with the Director of Operations of ECS to achieve company objectives.
• Works Directly with the Customer Service Supervisor for efficient workflow through the Cal Lab.
• Responsible for workflow of calibrations and repairs though the lab.
• Creates service estimates for calibration and repair work.
• Provides guidance for technicians in their day-to-day responsibilities.
• Evaluates growth opportunities for the technicians.
• Perform calibrations and technical related duties as needed.
• Has the authority to make personnel decisions to meet company objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Prior Calibration / Metrology experience is required.
• Prior PMEL or TMDE military experience is highly preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Continuous Improvement experience is highly preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and leadership skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
