Exploration and Learning Station is currently hiring for a responsible full time employee to join our team!

We are looking for a nurturing individual to encourage healthy guidance and growth with our toddler programs as an assistant teacher. You will teach and supervise within our infant-toddler or preschool program providing regular supervision, guidance, and curriculum direction. This is a floating position, so you will not have to lesson plan.

Hours vary, 10 hour shifts, 3-4 days a week. Must meet minimum age requirements, be able to pass a background check and complete pre-employment training required by the Iowa Dept. of Human Services.

As a QRS rated center, Exploration & Learning Station staff are eligible for the TEACH early childhood grant program for continuing education expenses as well as the WAGE$ program, a supplemental payment program for employees on a degree track.

Pay: From $11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
