Responsibilities
- Check the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, while following quality control procedures
- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions
- Be a back-up when it would be the case for posting payments and registration of documents (invoices, expense claims etc.)
- Performing month-end closing activities and reconciliations
- Prepare and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies
- Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
- Prepare tax calculation
- Monthly group reporting to the group
- Prepare half-year accounting reports and annual financial statements
- Provide assistance during tax audits or financial audits
- Prepare reports for local regulators upon request
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting field
- Very good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards (IFRS experience is an advantage)
- Very good communication skills in English
- Ability to meet deadlines, reliable and consistent
- MS Office (strong Excel skills: VLOOKUP, PIVOT TABLE, MACRO)
