Job Description
What you will be doing:
Overseeing, developing, coordinating and administering internal training programs for Vacation Ownership Services division employees
Translating business requirements into system definitions and solutions
Resolving system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly
Documenting business processes, training procedures, standard operation procedures and project status
Identifying training needs, standardizing training initiatives, and tracking and reporting on training success
Setting a positive example to others relative to professionalism and the respect of others
Gathering information and data on business process and procedures
Identifying problem or process issues and inefficiencies, researching alternatives, contributing to presentations, testing to confirm, and participating in implementing solutions for defined business processes
Working with business partners to create documentation of business processes, training procedures, and standard operating procedures
Generating/monitoring standard reports and reviewing and auditing information
Assisting in coordinating, conducting or facilitating general and specific training programs for organization employees
Assisting in preparing training plans relevant to the material
Keeping records and gathering information from course evaluations and suggesting improvements
Delivering established training courses
Providing orientation and onboarding training to new division employees
Traveling to other locations to assess needs, deliver trainings and/or perform other business needs
Performing after-hours/weekend testing of system enhancements and fixes
Monitoring the shared email inbox to assist system users with inquiries, requests and/or issues
Gathering information on business objectives from management, determining training needs, and recommending solutions
Actively participating in the design of training/instructional materials including web publications, policy and procedure manuals and client-specific guidelines
Experience you will need:
Analytical skills
Ability to interview, formulate questions
Data management skills
Basic knowledge of general business environment/operation and general cost benefit awareness
Good written and verbal communication skills in order to define parameters to meet business requirements
Standard MS skill set
1-3 years of directly related experience
Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable
