Job Description
What You Will Be Doing:
Serving as the in-charge Auditor for various engagements, including non-profit and for-profit entities, schools, and employee benefit plans.
Acting as the primary client liaison for all in-charge engagements.
Managing lower-level staff members on engagements.
Developing testing strategies and completing planning documentation for engagements.
Conducting substantive external audit procedures in moderate and high-risk areas.
Preparing financial statements, management letters, and other financial reports for engagements.
Communicating with clients regarding financial reports and ensuring timely issuance of final reports.
Experience You Will Need:
Master’s in Accounting or 150 credit hours in accounting.
3-5 years of audit experience in public accounting, preferably with non-profit, school, and/or employee benefit plan clients.
Eligible to sit for the CPA exam, CPA licensure preferred.
Applied working knowledge of US GAAP and GAAS, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Familiarity with ProSystem fx Engagement is preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities.
