Local company is seeking an experience Shipping and Receiving Associate to add to their 1st shift team.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7am-4:15pm Fridays 7am-12pm

Job Summary

Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips. Report damages or discrepancies, and label inventory package and label finished goods for shipment to customer. Schedule and coordinate both inbound and outbound carriers

Duties and Essential Job Functions

Packaging of finished product to ship to customer. Prepare labels and packing slips for parcel carriers. Prepare end of day report for front office. Visual review and inspection of product to assure defect free final product.

Skills and requirements

• Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping, some international knowledge helpful.
• Experience with LTW trucking a plus
• Experience with MRP efficiency
• Knowledge of Final Quality inspection helpful. Maybe cosmetic or visual inspection.
• Knowledge of procedures like ISO 9000 would also be very helpful.
• Good documentation skills a plus
• Good team mentality.
• Strong communication and interface with all internal departments, customers and vendors.
• Strong vendor communications helpful.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
