Experis is Hiring a Quality Systems Analyst Near Meridian, ID

Experis is seeking a Quality Systems Analyst (Manual Tester) on behalf of a high tech company in Meridian, ID. This project will start as a 8 month opportunity with possible extensions. The role will be a hybride position (2 - 3 days on-site) in Meridian and will be 40 hours a week. Our client is looking for a quality assurance engineer with multi-year experience to join their team. You will be part of a dynamic and distributed team that supports a variety of websites, company portals, asset management tools, and other applications. As a high-performing and collaborative Agile team member, you will help deliver value that grows the customer experience for their website.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
  • Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
  • Analyze the bugs created in Jira and provide more directions to the development team.
Required Qualifications
  • Work Experience:5 years of Relevant Experience.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Deve-ops experience (CI/CD pipeline setup, Jenkins) is a plus.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
