Description:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as the Non Production MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Stores Supervisor at the Sterling Stamping plant. As the Non Production MRO Stores Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, processing inter-plant transfers, reviewing invoices, and ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor NPM (Non Production Material) inventory daily, weekly, monthly, and annually to identify opportunities for reducing float, increasing turns, disposing of inactive material, and addressing potential inventory discrepancies.
Work closely with Maintenance and Controllers Office to dispose of excess and obsolete material properly.
Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain accurate inventory records.
Process inter-plant transfers and shipments as required.
Review open order reports and ensure timely receipt and disposition of inventoried material.
Log non-conformances from the receipt of material into the repository and follow up with suppliers to resolve issues.
Interface with third-party providers regarding internal or external inventory requests or issues.
Review tool store requests (TSRs) and repetitive buys to validate orders based on prior usage/activity and cancel any unnecessary orders.
Support World Class Manufacturing (WCM) activities through daily housekeeping reviews, 5-S checks, and participation in Kaizen events.
Assist in training plant personnel on creating RFMs (Request for Materials) and TSRs.
Collaborate with Order Processing & Control (OPC) on ordering and follow-up issues as needed.
Support monthly audit requirements by participating in all cycle count activities and implementing corrective actions for count variances.

Requirements:
Must Have:
Completed Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 2 years of previous warehouse supervisory experience.
Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
Experience working in a union environment.
Previous knowledge of plant stores inventory management.
