Job Details

Our client, an Electric Utility Company, is seeking a GIS Analyst to join their Transmission & Distribution (T&D) department.
Job Title: GIS Analyst
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: 25.71/hr paid weekly

What's the Job?

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of T-Line data within the Clearion software system. You will work collaboratively with internal teams (supervisors, crews) and external contractors to manage the lifecycle of equipment conditions, from identification and assessment to completion and closure.

Here are some of your key responsibilities:
  • Data Review & Entry: You will review existing data in Clearion for accuracy, verify migrated data, and remove completed entries. Additionally, you will support TFS Line Coordinators with data entry tasks, including creating assessments, conditions, tasks, work groups, and assigning them to crews for completion.
  • FMP (Field Maintenance Plan) Completion: You will coordinate and ensure the timely completion of FMPs, collaborating with local supervisors and contractors to gather information and complete the cycle within ten days of job completion.
  • Data Auditing & Reporting: You will monitor data compliance within Clearion, ensuring adherence to internal guidelines for timeliness of creation, completion, FMP compliance, work order closure, and assessment/work group closure. You will also generate reports using dashboards and other metrics to demonstrate success and foster local accountability.
What's Needed?
  • Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology (or a related field).
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently while also being a team player.
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with Clearion software is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of additional software applications like Webex, OneNote, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat MAXIMO, Visio, Scanview, SnagIT, DS Track is a plus.
Note: This position may require working in a construction environment.
