**Job Description**

**Position Overview:**

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure efficient daily operation within the Warehouse department by accurately receiving, storing, preparing, and shipping orders of products while complying with internal and external requirements.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Palletizing, shrink wrapping, and labeling freight

* Confirming dimensions, weight, and piece count against documentation with inspection for overages, shortages, or damage.

* Load and unload trucks and ocean containers using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.

* Stage freight for consolidation and shipping.

* Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.

* Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.

* Notify both internal and external customers of delays and/or problems.

* Use of computer and scanning equipment for timely and accurate communication and data entry.

**Qualifications**

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Type 40 WPM

* 10 key ability 12,000 KPH

* Must be able to pass an extensive background check

* Must possess a valid drivers license
