**Job Description**

* Maintain positive, strong relationships with customers and suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved)

* Ability to read client specific operating procedures and successfully execute upon them

* Ensure accurate and timely client billing

* Assist in resolving accounting issues

* Understand the department process flow to ensure smooth, accurate and timely freight process flow

* Data entry using Expeditors proprietary programs and systems

* Create accurate and timely documents for shipping purposes (Import/Export/Customs)

* Document scanning

* Meet compliance at all times by following internal and external regulations that are in accordance with government regulations

* Track and Trace customer shipments as needed

* Continually look for best practices and ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity

* Other departmental duties as needed

* Continuous learning and professional development

**Qualifications**

* Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results

* Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Must Type 45WPM

* 10-key by touch a plus

* Functions efficiently in a high stress environment

* Genuine curiosity about Logistics and Supply Chain Management

* Willing to work overtime

* Willing to learn, grow and prosper in a strong company culture
