As the Operations Senior Specialist, you'll support the Best Buy Social Impact team with financial operations, including payables, receivables and operations processes. You'll be crucial to supporting the on-going expansion of philanthropic programs and supporting day to day business functions. You'll be responsible for spend alignment, revenue collection management and accounts payable functions for both corporate giving and the Best Buy Foundation. You'll also support spend/revenue audits, policy compliance and required reporting rhythms.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you'll do

• Maintain a centralized financial resource center that contains one accurate source for information and analysis
• Manage accounts payable processes, including troubleshooting, tracking and reconciliation for various methods of spend options
• Contribute to creating, interpreting and maintaining department policies and procedures
• Report annual company-wide charitable activities and tax information

Basic qualifications

• 2 years of accounts receivable/accounts payable experience
• 2 years of experience in project financial management or related area
• 2 years computing skills, including Microsoft Office software

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to learn financial tools (e.g., Ariba)
• Advanced Excel skills
