Job Summary:

We're seeking an Assistant Performance Manager to join our team. The Assistant Performance Manager will focus primarily on both coaching as well as general operation of a corporate client site to ensure efficiency of the day-to-day operations and the client needs are met at the client site.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operation functions of the facility
  • Manage and mentor staff to provide world class experience to our clients
  • Instructs, motivates, and assists clients in a safe, legal, moral, ethical manner to achieve their goals
  • Motivates and assists Performance team with daily activities including but not limited to scheduling, coordinating clients, and program design
  • Ensure communication and alignment with Performance Manager and Regional Director of Performance
  • Oversee operational and staffing implementation at the site level
  • Oversee direct site level staff responsible for the delivery of solutions
  • Responsible to follow EXOS methodologies and EXOS program design
  • Manage and mentor a staff to provide world class experience to our clients
  • Ensure appropriate scheduling and staffing as per contractual obligations
  • Assist the Regional Performance Manager to train and develop site team members to implement programs that demonstrate impact in alignment with company and agreed upon client objectives to ensure, quality control of methodology, program delivery consistency, product and solution implementation
  • Exceptional customer service delivery
  • Primary point of contact for site level staff and internal help desk issues with product/programs
  • Conduct performance evaluations for site level staff and maintain performance evaluation documentation with assistance from Regional Performance Manager
  • Maintain and foster a positive site level staff community and culture
  • Evaluate designated site level operations and performance, as well as performance of site level staff in alignment with both company and client company objectives to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Support achievement of site level customer metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Possess at least three (3) years of strength coaching/personal training experience
  • BA/BS Kinesiology or Sports Science or related degree
  • Currently hold industry certification, preferably NSCA-CSCS or NASM

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and application of EXOS methodology, products, and solutions
  • Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Rehabilitation or related field
  • Excellent presentation skills in both small and large group settings
  • Strong customer service skills where servicing the “client” is top priority
  • Energy and passion for helping others achieve their personal goals
  • Must be able to work independently with little daily supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products

Physical Requirements:

  • Candidates applying for this position should be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout the workday
  • The physical requirements of this job require frequent walking around and demonstrating and assisting with exercise movements; bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting are movements performed daily
