EXL Services is Hiring a Medical Records Coordinator - Second Shift - Part Time Near Pittsburgh, PA

EXL Health is looking for MRM Coordinators for the Medical Records Management Team. This position is in our Pittsburgh, PA office in the Robinson Area.This position is a Part Time, Second Shift opportunity, hours are Monday through Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm EST.MRM Coordinator Responsibilities include: Open, review and sort incoming mail by Client / Audit ProgramAccurately review and prepare paper Medical Records and other Healthcare related correspondence for scanning following a standardized process.Review, prepare and process incoming electronic records received via e-fax, CD, SFTP, web portal. Monitor email accounts and respond to inquiries from internal Teams and/or Providers within service level.Outbound phone calls to Providers regarding issues with CDs or other documentation received.Review and process return mail.Generate, Review, and prepare files of outgoing Audit letters on a daily basis.Operate postage meter, inserter, scanner, printers.Responsible for communication and reporting of any system or workflow issues to the appropriate Leadership or Team MembersMeet quality and productivity standards as indicated by service level.Comply with HIPAA and other regulations regarding confidentiality of information.Maintain daily trackers and other Excel spreadsheets.Other duties as assigned to support the audit process and/or company-wide programs. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Prior phone experience, especially in a healthcare settingPrior experience as a document processor or working with Medical Records Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work in an organized, efficient, and process-oriented manner.Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to problem solve.Ability to transition from one task to another, while maintaining attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office, emphasis with Excel and Outlook Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment either with a team or individually Comfortable using various types of office equipment and software programs. Prior Healthcare experience a plus Other: Ability to stand 6 - 8 hours per day. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
