Job Description

Legal Support Specialist - Charleston Area

Candidate must be located in one of the locations listed and can travel to the others 2-3 times per week.

Huntington, Winfield, Point Pleasant, or Wayne WV or surrounding communities (within 25 miles).

Ability to Travel back and forth between these counties from candidates home office.

Candidate will need prior experience and knowledge of legal terminology and jargon

Prior Paralegal, legal assistant, legal analyst experience is a plus

Candidate will need a home office setup

Reliable transportation is a must

• Reliable internet bandwidth from home office
• Ability to retrieve copies of civil complaints from designated court houses
• Scan and upload documents to database
• M-F 35 hours per week
• Company provided Laptop and scanner
• Company P-Card provided (Credit Card)

Mileage, parking reimbursement

• Candidate will need prior experience and knowledge of legal terminology and jargon
• Prior experience with filing and / or retrieval of complaints desired
• Functional skills and ability to use Laptop or desktop PC
• Functional skills and ability to use Google applications (Gmail, Google Sheets and Docs)
• Functional skills to scan and upload documents
• Great customer service skills
• Great oral and written communication
• Functional skills to use a document scanner
• Typing and data entry
