Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Audio Video Service Technician to join our team for immediate hire. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing audiovisual equipment and systems. You will provide technical support to our clients and ensure that their audiovisual needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Proven experience as an Audio Video Service Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of audiovisual equipment and systems
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing audiovisual issues
- Familiarity with various types of audiovisual cables, connectors, and adapters
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Detail-oriented and organized
Responsibilities:
- Install and set up audiovisual equipment, including speakers, projectors, screens, and amplifiers
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on audiovisual systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair audiovisual issues, such as sound distortion and video connectivity problems
- Assist clients with audiovisual equipment operation and provide technical support
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless audiovisual integration for events and presentations
- Keep records of audiovisual equipment inventory and maintenance activities
- Stay updated with the latest audiovisual technologies and trends
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and efficiency
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy audiovisual equipment
- Willingness to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, if necessary
