The Assistant Teacher should be a dependable, responsible, respectful person who is capable of being alone for an extensive period of time with children in Academy facilities and should carry out their duties in a way that conforms to both State of Missouri Child Care licensing regulations as well as the policies and procedures of the Academy of Early Childhood Learning.

Academy of Early Childhood Learning is a small business in EDUCATION in Columbia, MO. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to provide high-quality childcare that is educational and nurturing.

Our curriculum begins at 6 weeks and continues through Kindergarten entry. We have an excellent STEAM based summer program, Camp Academy, for school ages 5-12!.

Job Type : full-time

Wages : $13.00 - $16.00 per hour (commensurate with skillset and ability to manage a room)

Duties include :

• Gross Motor / Fine Motor
• Socio-emotional learning
• Updating developmental portfolios, maintaining documentation
• Age-appropriate learning
• Behavior management
• Maintaining a clean, safe environment

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift with 1 hour break
• No weekends

Experience :

Childcare : 1 year (Preferred)
