Cyber Security Analyst
Excentium, Inc. is a Service-Disabled Veteran owned small business that provides Cyber Security Engineering, Information Assurance (IA), management, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and other IT services to government and commercial organizations.
We have an opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst supporting one of our Federal customers.
MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Public Trust
CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship
LOCATION: Hines, IL. VA Medical center
Position Description:Provide support to review, analyze, and recommend strategic and tactical options for improved management and performance of the Cybersecurity architecture. SME shall participate in Technical Working Groups (TWG) that establish Continuous Readiness Information Security Program (CRISP) device configuration standards and participate in Federal/ Industry Security Initiatives. CS SME shall also participate in Proof of Concept (PoC) testing and pilot deployments of new (or modification of existing) Cybersecurity solutions. Perform project coordination among internal entities and external to the VA. Will be required to produce engineering, technical engineering drawing, configuration, system development lifecycle, interface control, use cases, user and technical, product data, and system/ solution characteristic/specification details for AIS’ being researched for usage in development. Ability to conduct independent research to lead or support the resolution of complex questions and issues.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related scientific or technical Discipline required
- 5 Years' Experience Required.
- 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
