Wound Care RN - Full Time Position
Monday through Friday (6am-2pm or 7am-3pm / flexible)
Responsibilities:
Assesses residents/patients admitted with wounds and residents/patients that develop wounds in house.
Determines appropriate treatment in conjunction with the physician & communicates with physicians on progress of treatments.
Maintains decubiti statistics, updates wound tracking forms for each wound with measurements and distributes to wound care team weekly.
Provide inservices to appropriate staff on wound care as well as education to residents/family members as needed.
Perform quarterly Quality Assurance reports to insure plan of care for wounds care is in compliance for each resident.
Observe dressing changes given by treatment nurses for accuracy.
Requirements:
Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse
