Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge a collaborative partnership with the DON and ADON to assess and lead the daily operations of our Nursing Department, ensuring strict compliance with prevailing regulations and guidelines.
  • Be the guardian of job descriptions, ensuring that our nursing services personnel are unwavering in their commitment to their roles.
  • Stand ready for facility surveys conducted by authorized government agencies, acting upon the DON and ADON's requests.
  • Embark on daily rounds of our Nursing Services Department, guaranteeing that every nursing service professional upholds the highest nursing standards with unwavering dedication.

Our Expectations and Requirements:

  • Hold a valid RN License in the State of New York
  • Bring to the table a minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long-Term Care, with a preference for managerial background.
  • Showcase your exemplary leadership and management skills, along with your exceptional verbal and written communication prowess.
  • Demonstrate your commitment to safety, care, professionalism, efficiency, and fostering a cohesive team spirit.
