We are in search of a Registered Dietician to work full-time

As the Registered Dietitian, you are to assess the residents' nutritional and health needs. You are to counsel the residents on nutrition issues and healthy eating habits. You will be working alongside the Food Services Department to develop and plan meals taking both the residents' preferences and budgets into account.

Salary: Up to $75,000 

The ideal candidate must be able to:

• Interpret the Food Services Department’s policies and procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, to assure control of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure that menus are maintained and filed under current industry standards of practice and established policies and procedures.
• Maintain a reference library of written material, current FDA food code manuals, OBRA regulations, diet manuals, etc., necessary for complying with industry standards of practice and OBRA regulations and that will provide assistance in maintaining quality food service.

Registered Dietician Requirements:

• Must have, at a minimum, 1 year(s) experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facilities.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered active NJ State License to practice as a dietitian
• Must be knowledgeable of dietary practices and procedures and the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in the Facility.
• Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all personnel
