We are seeking an experienced school registrar to join our team. An ideal school registrar wears many hats and is a detail-oriented individual who plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school. The work involves responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the on-line information management system utilized for student registration, scheduling, curriculum planning, grade reporting and related activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Student Enrollment and Records: Registering new students, verifying residency and collecting required documents, processing student withdrawals and transfers.
Maintaining student records in a secure and accurate manner, including transcripts, grades, attendance, and immunization records.
Maintaining accurate student data in the school information system.
Familiarity with federal and state regulations regarding student records.
Communication and Collaboration:
Responding to inquiries from students, parents, faculty, and staff regarding registration, records, and academic processes.
Collaborating with other departments, such as admissions and financial aid, to ensure a smooth student experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
Experience working with student records and data management systems.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in computer applications like spreadsheets and word processing software.
