Currently we are looking for a qualified individual to work as NC DHHS Enterprise Cloud Architect and Advisory with our direct client in RTP Durham NC.

• The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cloud Architect and Advisor.
• This position is responsible for overseeing the Department’s cloud computing strategy. This includes cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. This position will indirectly lead teams of technologists to advance solutions delivery roadmap, providing guidance and oversight.

Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud (IAM, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, LAMBDA)
• Objective decision-making ability based on strategic objectives priority, business performance analysis and resource availability
• Strong supervision, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Demonstrated presentation, training skills, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all job levels, use excellent evaluation skills, and ability to relay information in legible reports as required
• Experience with AWS cloud services API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, ElastiCache.
• Experience with Cloud technologies & SaaS applications running on Cloud. Highly desired
• Strong experience with Cloud migrations/DevSecOps and implementations. Highly desired
• Experience leading organizations through major change initiatives
• AWS Cloud Certified
• Experience with implementing one or more RPA technologies. Highly desired
• Experience collaborating with Federal, State and Local Government. Desired
• Experience managing implementation of a statewide IT project. Desired
• Experience in establishing and implementing governance model for the Cloud Migration and transformation efforts across programs. Highly desired
• Experience in IT and stakeholder relationship management.
