Job Description: (Experience: 8 Years)

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images.

Required Skills:

• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role (Required: 7 Years)
• Proven experience working on a variety of design projects involving web based applications (Required: 7 Years)
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision) (Required: 5 Years)
• Up-to-date knowledge and hands on working experience of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (Required: 5 Years)
• Ability to develop relationships/partnerships with customer by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency; independently identify options. (Required: 7 Years)
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures. (Required: 7 Years)
• Business knowledge and experience implementing SNAP and other federal programs as per the policy requirements. (Highly desired: 7 Years)
• Experience designing applications using the social services products (Highly desired: 5 Years)
• Experience designing and/or developing dashboards using Power BI (Highly desired: 4 Years)
• Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development (Highly desired: 3 Years)
• Experience designing applications using low code no code technologies like Salesforce, Microsoft dynamics and others. (Highly desired: 2 Years)
• Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and Shift Left testing (Highly desired: 2 Years)
