Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping individuals live fulfilling lives by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and document changes in individuals' behavior or health status
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support individuals in participating in recreational activities and community outings
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Drive individuals to appointments or activities as required

Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of systems and procedures related to working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and assist with transferring individuals as needed
