Position OverviewThe Preschool Floater plays a pivotal role in supporting the seamless operation of our classroom environments. This position requires flexibility, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children in a dynamic educational setting. The ideal candidate will assist in various classrooms, helping to maintain the high standards of care and education that Excel Prep is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Position OverviewThe Preschool Floater plays a pivotal role in supporting the seamless operation of our classroom environments. This position requires flexibility, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children in a dynamic educational setting. The ideal candidate will assist in various classrooms, helping to maintain the high standards of care and education that Excel Prep is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of the STEAM-based curriculum under the guidance of the lead teachers.
- Provide support across different classrooms, adapting to the needs of each age group and teacher.
- Engage with children in a variety of activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Help prepare materials and set up for daily activities, ensuring the learning environment is organized and conducive to child-led exploration.
- Assist with classroom management, including observing and documenting children's progress and behavior.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities related to STEAM education and early childhood development.
- Maintain open communication with lead teachers, staff, and parents, ensuring a collaborative and supportive community.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the well-being of all students and staff.
- Help will facility and class operations including school lunch program
