Maintenance Crew Leader-3rd Shift

Excel Mining is now accepting applications for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Crew Leader at Excel #5 in Pike County, Kentucky. Responsibilities include leading and directing maintenance personnel as they perform routine maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment, tracking and performing preventative maintenance on designated equipment, making sure all designated equipment remains compliant with state and federal regulations, and fostering a safe and accident free work environment. The right candidate must possess a Kentucky Underground Electrical Certification with at least 5 years of underground maintenance/electrical experience. Applicants must be familiar with common mechanical and electrical components typically used in underground coal mining and their function/operation. Applicant must possess great leadership qualities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This is a 3rd (night) shift underground position requiring supervisory responsibilities.
