Excel Management LTD is a small business in Grafton, OH with about 45 employees. We are challenging, customer-centric, fast-paced and our goal is to provide clients with a one stop shop that can handle all of their needs from maintenance, remodeling, to outdoor living.

Excel Management LTD is a full service construction and maintenance company.

We are looking for a production manager for our Construction & Remodeling Division. This job requires a well rounded knowledge of all areas of construction & remodeling such as carpentry, flooring, framing, drywall, windows, siding, etc. You will have to make decisions for any issues that may arise on site, and be able to communicate with your crews when an issue arises.

Your job will include managing up to 6 employees, totaling 3 crews. Your roll will require an in depth knowledge of each job site that is being worked on, and an understanding of the scope of work provided to you from the estimator. This will allow you to problem solve and answer questions for your crews. You will be required to make plans for each crew daily, make sure crews are set up with the proper tools and materials to complete their tasks for that day, and verify they are meeting the job requirements each day. Excellent communication is required for the position. The roll will also include customer communications, when issues arise, and making sure they are aware of any extras that may come up on the job.

Some of your responsibilities will include.

-Assessing each job with the estimator prior to starting and going through the scope of work

-Getting your crews started on each project

-Monitoring each project through completion

-Quality control through assessing jobs daily

-Time management (of each crew, and your own)

-Preparing the materials needed for the following day for each crew

-Communicating with each crew 3x per day (morning, lunch, and end of day)

-Turning in all of your receipts for each job

-Employee management (reviews, constructive criticism)

-Planning a meeting for your employees every 2 weeks to discuss issues and resolve them, as well as praises

-Managing paperwork for each job including the schedule, and extras list

-PROFICIENT USE OF APPLICATIONS ON YOUR PHONE AND COMPUTER IS REQUIRED

· Operating all power tools of a construction company

· Being able to complete and finish work with exceptional detail

· Ability to solve small job site issues with little or no supervision

Physical Requirements:

· Be able to be on your feet at the job site the entire work day

· Operating all tools

· Lifting materials up to 75lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
