Associate Dentist
Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients
- Provide general dental care including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental extractions as necessary
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education courses
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in using electronic dental software systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Experience or interest in working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
