Exactera has offices in New York City, Tarrytown NY, St. Petersburg FL, London, and Argentina.

Compensation $65,000-$80,000 per year depending on experience
Role Overview:

As a R&D Tax Credit Associate, you will help achieve our core purpose – helping people and businesses thrive every day – by helping companies identify and claim government incentives designed to promote innovation, economic, and job growth in the US. Like the R&D Tax Credit.

Our clients are leaders in innovation in virtually every industry from technology, financial services, manufacturing, and life sciences. Working alongside the Director of R&D Tax Credit, you will have the opportunity to make a difference by utilizing our custom technology platform and learning from our experienced R&D tax leaders. Our goal is to help Associates gain and improve their skills in every aspect of professional services, including technical, interpersonal, oral and written communication, project management, and practice management.

Responsibilities:

This is a unique opportunity for a tech savvy individual that has a positive, can-do attitude and demonstrates the ability to understand economic theory and concepts. We are willing to train the right person that has the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and flexible environment.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, Finance or other related/quantitative fields
  • 1-2 years of R&D Tax Credit Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (intermediate or higher skillset)
  • Ability to prioritize and drive progress on multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently to achieve results
