We are currently seeking a skilled warehouse clerk to join our team in Oxnard, CA. As an Exact Staff client, we offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

• The warehouse clerk is responsible for safely and efficiently performing all warehouse-related tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to loading and unloading;
• picking and packing orders; shipping and receiving; moving and rotating pallets containing products; operating a forklift;

organizing inventory; using SAP computer system; and other duties as assigned. There are no supervisory responsibilities.

• Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
• Salary : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities :

Use SAP to enter tracking data of shipping items, inventory, orders, etc.

Help receive containers of filters; usually per month

Successfully operate a forklift as needed

Pick and pack orders

Load and unload material / products

Verify specifications of the product based on customer orders

Perform an informal quality check of the product and look for obvious missing / broken parts

Prepare aesthetics of the product based on customer orders

Prepare customer paperwork and maintain a quick response time

Production orders ( physical and SAP )

Communicate to others clearly both written and oral

Read and understand basic blueprints

Shipping & Receiving

Fill and ship customer orders

Prioritize orders to be shipped ( per customer request )

Ensure the accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation

Ensure proper packaging of orders

Unload inventory from containers or delivery truck

Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed

Move inventory to their proper locations

Hand in completed receiving forms to the purchasing manager

Use a computer to log information when needed

Education and Experience :

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Ability to operate a forklift

years of warehouse experience preferred

Computer skills a plus - such as Office products and SAP

Must have strong work ethic and positive attitude, as well as be reliable and self-motivated

Ability to multi-task, pay attention to details and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment :

Fast-paced, indoor, warehouse environment with regular exposure to noise, dust, heat, and physical labor tasks

Have a general working knowledge of a variety of computer programs; including MS Office tools

Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc ) and SAP preferred

Must adhere to company safety policies

Physical Demands

Regularly required to lift or move office products and supplies up to 50 pounds
