**About the Role:**

As a CBRE Business Development Sr. Director, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing national and global business marketing and development strategies.

This position is part of the EV Sales function. They are responsible for the design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to potential, new, and existing clients.

**What Youll Do:**

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders. These include business executives, board members, and potential high-profile customers, landlords and land owners. Develop and present sales pitches for large global pursuits.

Create sales strategies to secure new relationships with EV Site Hosts

Develop tools and strategies to implement new ways of canvassing and identifying sales targets.

Partner with CPO clients to gain an understanding of their business goals and objectives. Work together to identify new business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Align with Account Teams to develop a go to market strategy for securing new client opportunities and executing on market plans.

Manage profit and loss for accounts including budget and forecast development, monthly business reviews, and achievement of sales targets.

Partner with General Counsel in contract strategy and negotiations for global pursuits. Review and finalize key deal summaries after contract signing.

Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness. Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy.

Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.

Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.

**What Youll Need:**

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 10-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

EV charging business development, contracts, infrastructure policy or permitting experience.

Strong understanding of multiple disciplines and broad industry knowledge across different product types and asset classes.

Substantial industry knowledge and existing relationships within the Commercial Real Estate industry.

Comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders including executives, facility managers, city officials, utility planners, marketing, and co-workers.

Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets. Experience in staffing, selection, training, mentoring and the ability to convey performance expectations and handle problems.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidates education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the EV - Business Development Sr. Director position is $139,900 annually or $67.26 per hour and the maximum salary for the EV - Business Development Sr. Director position is $200,000 annually or $96.16 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidates skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBREs applicable benefit program.
