Entry level role that is working in a plant / factory. Performs a series of operations or tasks under close supervision, utilizing documented work processes.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

• Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
• Check on equipment throughout shift to ensure equipment is working properly
• Reads and clearly follows processes that are required
• Contributes to division results and performance
• Operate equipment specific to area such as :

CARBON :

Bag products, samples and test; Manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; Switch tank feed from tank to tank of spent carbon;

calibrate PH probes, operate a filter press, run facility wastewater treatment plant

REGEN :

Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries to and from regional branch; Operates forklift to move bottles and materials through plant and load / unload trucks; evacuates bottles

Position Requirements

1. FORMAL EDUCATION :

Required : High School Diploma or equivalent

2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

Required :

• Must complete site specific safety training
• Ability to communicate clearly to team members
• Be able to follow and read instructions
• Have basic math skills

Site specific requirements :

CARBON : Be able to complete 40-hour hazardous waste operations training

Preferred :

• Some manufacturing / plant experience
• Forklift driving
• Knowledge of computers
