Multi location Long Island Outpatient Psychiatric Facility seeking a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) operator for our Massapequa office. Experience with TMS is not required, training will be provided. Knowledge/experience with TMS is a plus!

TMS is a safe noninvasive technological breakthrough that involves applying a series of short magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in areas of brain known to be associated with different mental health issues.

Patient Care
o Previous experience with direct patient care, mental health or medical
o Understanding of medical terminology (including but not limited to medications and
ICD-10 and CPT codes)
o Able to work self-sufficiently, multi-task, and build program
o Conduct assessments for patient selection
o Maintain accuracy in documentation
o Able to administer treatment upon training

• Reimbursement

o Previous experience with prior authorizations (services or medications)
o Proficiency with computer applications, billing software, EHR

• Marketing

o Ability to speak to groups, or individuals about treatment
o Willing to visit local programs or offices
o Available for local community events on weekends, or evening hours
Responsibilities – Patient education, prescreening before consultation, providing treatment to patients,
maintaining therapeutic environment, administrative tasks (prior auths, documentation of treatments,
patient progress, scheduling of appointments, coordination of schedules between patient and MD
Preferred – bachelor’s degree, MA/RN certification, CPR certified, HIPAA compliancy knowledge,
customer service/patient care skills

Salary Range $20-$25.00 per hour based on experience.

Medical Assisting experience is required.

One year experience in healthcare setting required.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills a must.
