Evening/Night shift. 7:00 pm - 7:30 am. No call.
Will float to SOU and PCU after orientation.
Must current WA license.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team. As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. Your role will involve administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
Duties:
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and other medications as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their physical and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families about the disease, treatment options, and potential side effects
- Assist in performing procedures such as spinal taps and specimen collection processing
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Previous experience in oncology or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with infectious disease care, acute pain management, trauma medicine, and occupational health
- Knowledge of medical systems and electronic medical records
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in WA
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
- CPR certification
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
