POSITION SUMMARY:
The person in this position learns and performs tasks associated with maintenance and repair of fracturing equipment by performing the following duties.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Mechanics are frequently required to walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, crawl, lift, balance, stoop, handle materials, and squat/kneel. The employee must regularly lift and move up to fifty (50) pounds and occasionally lifts and moves up to one hundred (100) pounds.
Mechanics work indoors/outdoors, frequently during inclement weather, while performing labor intensive duties. The work environment includes exposure to hazardous materials and operating conditions. Given these conditions employees are required to wear company mandated personal protective equipment and must strictly adhere to safety policy.
Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in any combination depending on job demands. The work schedule can also require extended out-of-town assignments for two to three weeks at a time.
The Mechanic position requires the employee to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks. It is essential that the Mechanic take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups.
