• Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, following all safety protocols and procedures.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and report any issues to management.
• Organize shop and maintain inventory levels.
• Follow established procedures for picking, packing, and labeling orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in a safe manner, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of debris as needed.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training programs.
• Pack and unpack items safely and in 1 piece when moving goods in and out.
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information in accordance with the shipping note, or other records.
• Keeps records all of packing slips of incoming materials.
• Records damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse and reporting the same to the supervisor.
• Shipping and receiving unloading trucks, as required.
• Moves materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Places and sort materials or items on pallets or racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, or product code.
• Assist Shop Foreman with tasks during downtime.

Knowledge & Skill Requirement:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Previous shipping/receiving and warehouse experience is preferred.

- Computer literate, with the ability to learn internal and shipping software.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

- Able to operate forklift (Forklift Certification will be required).

- Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.

- Team player.

Physical Requirements:

- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), carrying, pulling, pushing, and reaching.
