Our rapid growth nationwide has created a vital role at the corporate office that oversees the critical details in properly launching a new hotel operation. We start approximately 4 new hotels each month, and in order to ensure all of the little details are met in time and with accuracy, this role is perfect for the right person who loves to multi-task and stay organized when juggling multiple projects at the same time.

Job Description

Evolution Parking and Guest Services is searching for a qualified Payroll Administrator. This position will play a key role in preparing and processing the weekly payroll thru CoAdvantage (PEO), while providing exceptional support to the field nationwide.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, operates well in a dynamic environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and adapts to changing priorities within our quickly growing company.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to process bi-weekly payroll and manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Process all manual and replacement checks/ACH
  • Review time and attendance daily and provide operations staff with daily KPI reporting
  • Interpret and process involuntary deductions, such as levies and garnishment orders
  • Prepare the bi-weekly general ledger report to be imported in to our accounting system
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
  • Perform compliance for unclaimed property payroll checks
  • Reconcile all payroll related balance sheet accounts monthly (401K, FSA, Accrued Payroll, etc...)
  • Responsible for reconciling all federal, state, local and provincial withholding and unemployment tax payments
  • Coordinate and interact with CoAdvantage PEO on federal and state tax and compliance issues pertaining to employee compensation and deductions
  • Run monthly Time and Attendance labor reports to provide to finance to facilitate monthly invoicing
  • Perform necessary monthly payroll audits
  • Provide customer service by addressing all payroll related questions
  • The Payroll Administrator will also assist the finance team with other tasks as assigned including T&E processing, sales tax return preparation, business license filings, etc.

Education & Experience

  • 3 years of progressive payroll experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with US multi-state/multi-tax payrolls
  • Experience with Ceridian HR/Payroll platform preferred
  • CPP Payroll Certification preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
  • Client Focused/Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and detail orientated
Salary Range
$75,000—$85,000 USD
