Job Title: Residential HVAC Service Technician

Work hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; some evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits

Reports to: Service Manager

Position Summary: To provide maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards and provide the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to the Service Manager regarding technical training needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• 3 years' experience with residential and commercial HVAC service as well as refrigeration
• Willingness to travel to the service area
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance
• EPA Universal Certification
• Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to comply with all safety rules
• Ability to handle system start-up and adjustments
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on various residential heating and air conditioning systems, delivering high-quality service to our valued customers
• Make product recommendations and educate customers about HVAC options to help them make informed decisions
• Test HVAC systems after repairs or maintenance to ensure proper functionality and performance
• Communicate with clients in a courteous and professional manner, explaining diagnoses and recommended solutions clearly
• Document all work performed, including repairs made, parts used, and any additional recommendations
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for clients and team members
