Job Title: Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician

Work hours:7:00 am to 4:00 pm; some evenings, weekends, and overtime may be required

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits

Reports to: Service Manager

Position Summary: To provide preventative maintenance on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards and provide the customer with a high-quality experience. Provide feedback to the Service Manager regarding technical training needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• 1 years' experience with residential HVAC maintenance
• Willingness to travel to the service area
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance
• EPA Universal Certification
• Ability to follow directions given, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to comply with all safety rules
• Ability to handle system start-up and adjustments
• Ability to work independently

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on various residential heating and air conditioning systems, delivering high-quality service to our valued customers
• Regularly replace air filters to ensure proper airflow and indoor air quality
• Checking and calibrating thermostats to ensure accurate temperature
• Checking electrical connections, wiring, and components for any signs of wear, damage, or overheating
• Cleaning condenser coils, evaporator coils, and blower components to remove dirt, dust, and debris that can impede airflow and reduce efficiency
• Inspecting ductwork for leaks, cracks, or blockages that could reduce airflow
• Inspecting the outdoor unit for damage, debris buildup, and proper airflow clearance
• Provide recommendations to homeowners for any necessary repairs or upgrades to improve system performance and energy efficiency
