Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery to move materials within the warehouse
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
-Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area for pickup. Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality, and national standards of shipping best-practices.
- Use order picking systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, including OSHA standards
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed
-Open containers, sort, and catalog materials
Qualifications:
- Experience operating a variety of forklifts, including lift trucks and pallet jacks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order fulfillment accuracy
Physical Demands
-Ability to lift and move heavy items
-Stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
