Everyday Eatery is a breakfast and lunch cafe open from 7am-3pm. Daytime shift!

We are searching for a customer service focused barista who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to join our great team!

JOB PURPOSE:

The front of house team member ensures our Guests receive an experience that will exceed expectations by delivering food and beverages to guests tables at the required visual and timing standards. They engage with the Guest at the time of food delivery and anticipate needs before walking away from the table.

The team member also cashiers, packs takeout orders, keeps their station and Takeout Packing Stations clean and organized and clears tables as required.

SPECIALTY COFFEE BARISTA EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS

Base Pay: $16 plus tips

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- Complete opening tasks as assigned.

- Minimum 1 year experience working with specialty coffee. Latte art and being able to dial in espresso is a plus. We are willing to train to improve your skills

- Pre bus and clear tables

- Cashier

- Maintain restaurant cleanliness throughout shift.

- Contribute to the restaurant team by assisting whenever needed.

- Interact in courteous and professional manner with guests, management and co-workers.

- Maintain restaurant standards of hygiene and sanitation follow all Health Department

regulations.

- Complete closing tasks as assigned.

- Minimum 2 years restaurant experience

- Flexible Work Schedule

- Fri Sat Sun availability required

- Must be available for a minimum of 4 shifts

- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Strong work ethic and reliable

- Positive and Professional Attitude

- Interest in leadership is a plus

Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

Must be able to lift 35 pounds

Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling

Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
