The Stockhandler orders, receives, records, stores, prepackages, issues, and maintains adequate stock

of material, equipment and supplies in the T&D Maintenance storeroom. In addition, the employee may

inventories, and other duties as assigned.

A High School diploma or the equivalent is required. A valid motor vehicle driver’s license with a proven

safe driving record is required. The ability to obtain a CDL-B driver’s license and a fork truck driver’s

license is also required. Other requirements include : mechanical aptitude, manual and finger dexterity,

the ability to communicate effectively, follow instructions, and learn various computer systems, including MAXIMO.

The salary range for this position starts at Step 1 ($30.94) and progresses in accordance with the union contract.

Physical requirements include the ability to : push / pull 50 to 100 lbs and occasionally lift up to

75 lbs. Previous warehouse experience including proficient computer skills is preferred. Familiarity with

distribution line material is preferred. Normal working hours for this position will be from 6 : 30 a.m. until

3 : 00 p.m. Monday through Friday unless otherwise assigned. Individual filling this position will be

expected to work a reasonable amount of overtime and will have storm restoration and emergency

assignments.
