Summary
The Supervisor, Tissue Processing is responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the Tissue Processing department workflow in compliance with Eversight and EBAA Medical Standards as well as with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications
Education: Undergraduate studies in related field preferred.
Experience: Tissue processing or Eye Bank experience experience required.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skill. Ability to interact professionally with peers and healthcare staff.
Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Office
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work is primarily performed in a normal office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time. Routine use of computer, phone and fax. Limited noise, room temperature fluctuation and dust are possible. Must be available to work any shift, any day of the week to meet the needs of tissue processing and meeting placement requests.
