Eversee Boutique Eyecare is Hiring an Optician Near Winnetka, IL

We are looking for an optician to join our new, family-owned retail store and medical office in Winnetka, IL. The right candidate should be able to multitask and have many skill sets including customer service, office management and practical optical knowledge. At least 2 years of experience of fitting and styling eyewear products is required. Office support experience is desirable though not required.

The right candidate should have qualifications such as strong organizational skills, communication skills, detail management and enjoy working with people.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering extraordinary experience to each and every customer and patient from the time they walk through the door to post-sale/visit
  • Managing the calendar and confirm appointments
  • Answering phone calls, troubleshooting problems, working with vendors
  • Styling high end frames depending on patients face shape, prescription and lifestyle needs
  • Adjusting new frames, poor fitting frames and frames that need to be fixed
  • Using insurance portals to determine costs and makes suggestions
  • Keeping work area tidy such as shelves, mirrors, desks, etc.

We are looking for full time and part time employees at this time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
