About Evermore

Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Evermore is building a team that will bring these experiences to life and is seeking individuals who want the challenge of building this exciting resort experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a welcoming and attentive atmosphere, engaging with guests, and addressing their needs. Anticipate when guests require additional service. Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner.
  • Provide recommendations on beverage selections and answer any questions about the menu.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns gracefully, seeking solutions to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Communicate with other staff members to accommodate guest preference.
  • Efficiently manage table turnover to maximize restaurant seating. Set up and arrange tables according to restaurant standards before the guest arrives.
  • Efficiently and discreetly clear tables of used dishes, glassware and utensils as the guest finishes each course. Ensure dishes are removed promptly.
  • Carry plates with a steady hand to avoid spills and accidents.
  • Resetting tables quickly for new guests, ensuring they are immaculate and properly arranged. This includes folding and replacing linens, sanitizing surfaces, and refilling condiments.
  • Menus can be extensive and may change frequently. The busser must be well-versed in the menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods and any specials.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local regulations for all F&B outlets.
  • Offer and serve water to guests, refilling glasses as needed, ensuring water service is attentive but not unobtrusive.
  • Deliver bread and butter to tables and replenish as required throughout the meal.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Collaborate with other staff to maintain a well-organized and efficient operation.
  • Assist in training new staff, if required.
  • Always maintain a clean and organized work area, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
  • Collaborate closely with servers by assisting with their guests’ needs, such as delivering food to tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring guests have all that they need.
  • Assist with closing duties, such as cleaning and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and glassware.
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
  • Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair.
  • Report any inconsistencies to leadership.
  • Assist Front of House Team Members with table service, which may include, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
  • Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s).
  • Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
  • Consistently account for and maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment in the dining area.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Complete side work as assigned.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Engage in a positive guest focused environment.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Previous busser experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant is required.
  • Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
