About Evermore

Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Evermore is building a team that will bring these experiences to life and is seeking individuals who want the challenge of building this exciting resort experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Attend to inquiries, offer recommendations, and address any requests, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay.
  • Respond and anticipate guests needs and assist with any opportunities to surprise and delight them.
  • Provide exceptional guest service as it relates to Evermore core values: Easy on Purpose, Unexpected Delight, Service Savvy, and Insightful Innovations.
  • Ability to learn and utilize resort software to assist guests with reservations, programming, communicating requests, and other needs in relation to the use of our resort application.
  • Exhibit proper speaking and phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively, politely, graciously, and professionally with both guests and Team Members as it aligns to luxury service standards.
  • Complete daily supply inventory of materials needed to execute the above core values.
  • Daily set up and break down of activities, beach furniture arrangements, rental operations, cabana set-ups, and other recreational equipment
  • Monitor safety conditions of the bay and relay important safety information as it relates to activities, closures, and general cabana safety.
  • Ensure accurate billing and compliance in regard to room charges, credit card payments, and cash/tip handling.
  • Relay any important safety information including closures in a professional format.
  • Work in tandem with all Evermore Team Members to maintain the high standards of cleanliness of Evermore Bay.
  • Assist guests with the reservations and bookings of Evermore Bay experiences and offering knowledgeable recommendations on the offerings of the central Florida area.
  • Keep up with Evermore aesthetics by maintaining the look of the bay according to diagrams and cleanliness procedures.
  • Providing the highest level of service during the arrival, duration, and departure of guests in the pool/bay area.
  • Performing walk-throughs of pool deck and bay areas to ensure proper chair alignment, cleanliness, as well as towel and trash removal.
  • Performing inspection walk-throughs of pool deck and bay areas to ensure all items are in working and safe condition and reporting any issues to their respective departments immediately.
  • Monitor pool and bay activities to ensure the safety and well-being of guests, responding to any emergencies or concerns as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with other resort departments to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • All other duties as required.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age or older with current or completed high school education.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hotel/hospitality, or luxury operation is preferred.
  • Experience working/volunteering in an outdoor environment or with outdoor sporting activities.
  • Must be able to swim. The team works on and around the water, which in areas can be up to 12’ deep.
  • Experience with interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Lifeguard and or First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, nights, early mornings, and holidays.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with guests directly and on a microphone.
  • Ability to manage guest requests in a calm, detailed, and empathetic manner.
  • Adhere to property and company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Outstanding organizational, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and prioritize job duties.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent physical and temperature endurance to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods of time, and participate in physical activities.
  • Ability to swim in deep water and potentially perform water rescues.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Tolerance for hot and humid Florida weather conditions, especially when working outdoors.
  • Ability to move swiftly and efficiently around the facility, including beach areas, pool decks, and gym facilities.
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in an emergency to direct guests and ensure their safety.
  • Willingness to adhere to strict regulations and enforce those regulations as necessary.
