About Evermore

Evermore Orlando Resort is an innovative 1,100-acre resort adjacent to Walt Disney World® featuring centrally owned upscale and upsized vacation rental homes, flats & villas, a luxury Conrad hotel, 36 holes of world-class Jack Nicklaus golf, and a massive 20-acre tropical beach complex around Evermore Bay, our 8-acre crystalline water amenity by Crystal Lagoons®. The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Evermore is building a team that will bring these experiences to life and is seeking individuals who want the challenge of building this exciting resort experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the execution and crafting of an innovative calendar of guest activities and experiences.
  • Organize and coordinate special beach, poolside, and group recreation events and have them ready for guests to experience at least thirty minutes prior to start time.
  • Exhibit proper speaking and phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively, politely, graciously, and professionally with both guests and colleagues as it aligns to luxury service standards.
  • Ensure accurate billing and compliance regarding room charges, credit card payments, and cash/tip handling.
  • Ability to learn and utilize resort software to assist guests with reservations, programming, communicating requests, and other needs in relation to the use of our resort application.
  • Provide exceptional guest service as it relates to Evermore core values: Easy on Purpose, Unexpected Delight, Service Savvy, and Insightful Innovations.
  • Complete daily supply inventory of materials needed to execute the above core values.
  • Monitor safety conditions of the bay and relay important safety information as it relates to activities and closures.
  • Collaborate with the Evermore team to seek out new ways to promote guest engagement in activities.
  • Work in tandem with all Evermore Team Members to maintain the high standards of cleanliness of Evermore Bay.
  • Assist guests with the reservations and bookings of Evermore Bay experiences and offering knowledgeable recommendations on the offerings of the central Florida area.
  • Communicate effectively with other resort departments to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • 2 years of prior experience in a recreation, entertainment, or other guest facing hospitality facility is preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience working in an outdoor environment or with outdoor sporting activities.
  • Able to swim as the recreation team works on and around the water which in areas can be up to 12’ deep.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of the resort’s recreational activities, trends, and industry best practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills while working in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Lifeguard and or First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, rotating schedule and holidays.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with guests directly and on a microphone.
  • Ability to handle guest requests in a calm, detailed, and empathetic manner.
  • Adhere to property and company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent physical and temperature endurance to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods of time, and participate in physical activities.
  • Ability to swim in deep water and potentially perform water rescues.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Tolerance for hot and humid Florida weather conditions, especially when working outdoors.
  • Ability to move swiftly and efficiently around the facility, including beach areas, pool decks, and gym facilities.
  • Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in an emergency to direct guests and ensure their safety.
  • Willingness to adhere to strict regulations and enforce those regulations as necessary.
